Terms of use
Last updated October 3, 2026.
Short version: use the site honestly, a quote isn't a contract until you accept a proposal, and the event sites we build are covered by the terms in your proposal.
Agreement
These terms apply to your use of seemyevent.com, run by seemyevent. By using the site you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site. Our privacy policy explains what we do with the information you give us.
What this site is
This site describes the private invitation websites we design and host, lets you ask for a quote or send us a message, and lets clients sign in to their account. Nothing on it is an offer you can accept as it stands. A price only becomes binding when we send you a proposal for your event and you accept it.
Proposals and event sites
Each event site is covered by the terms in its proposal: what's included, the deposit and balance, changes, cancelling or moving your event, and when the site comes down. You see those terms before you accept, and you get a copy by email afterwards. If anything in a proposal differs from this page, the proposal wins for that event.
Using the site
- Give accurate information when you fill in a form. We rely on it when we reply and when we prepare your quote.
- Don't use the site to break the law, to harass anyone, or to send anything you aren't entitled to send.
- Don't try to get into any part of the site, or any account, that isn't yours, and don't probe, scan, scrape or overload it.
Your client account
If we give you a client login, keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has it. We can suspend an account that's being misused.
What you send us for your event
When you send us a flyer, photos, a logo or wording for your site, you confirm you have the right to use them and that they don't break the law or anyone else's rights. You keep ownership of them; you give us permission to use them to design, host and show your site to your guests. We can decline to publish anything unlawful, hateful, or that puts other people at risk.
As the host, you decide who's invited and what your event is. You're responsible for the event itself and for how your guests are asked to pay you.
Our content and the examples
The text, designs, images, logos and layout of this site belong to us or to the people who let us use them. You may read and share pages for your own use. Copying them for another site, or presenting them as your own, isn't allowed. The examples on this site are either a real event shown without names, dates or links, or samples we made to show the idea; each one is labeled.
Accuracy
We work to keep this site accurate and up to date, but we don't promise it's free of mistakes. What we offer and how it works can change. The fee comparison on the home page uses another company's published fees on the date shown, which may change.
Other websites
Where we link to another website, we do it for convenience. We don't control it and aren't responsible for it.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss that comes from using this website, including lost profits or lost data. Nothing here limits any liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes
We can change these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top says when it last changed.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in the United States where seemyevent is based, and any dispute about them will be handled by the courts there.
